shining light in the dark
In 2012 the world was a dark place for me. A lot of factors played into it, but a big one was that the music I was pumping into my head was planting lies like crazy about how to be a man and how I should live my life. I was becoming convinced I was someone that I wasn’t, and I was getting further and further from God. Around that time, I re-discovered Christian Hip-Hop, and it has helped me over the years to shift my perspective and accept the grace that God has offered me.
So now I want to bless others with a curated radio station playing songs from the early 90s through today — encouraging and uplifting bangers that scratch that itch for a hip-hop head. I’ve been listening to this music since I was a kid, and I’m over the moon to share it with you.
This style of music isn’t sinful in itself. It’s just been corrupted by man like everything else on this earth. Let us enjoy this art form God has given us and use it to spread light, not darkness. And turn it up loud. The music sounds better at high volume.
Thank you,
Chade Peeters
